A photograph of the original Moodys shop on High Street in Crewe, with founder Charles Henry Moody stood in the doorway in the late 1800’s. There is a huge array of clocks, watches and jewellery in the window display.

Underneath is the amazing black nickel-plated & carbon-fibre “Grasshopper” clock handmade by O. Comitti of London.

The clock is based upon the John Harrison Marine Chronometer No.1 which was completed in 1735 and is in the Greenwich Observatory Museum in London. Harrisons’ story is told in a great biography,”Longtitude” written by New York authoress Dava Sobel (a copy comes with the clock) and which was later made into a film.

The clock has an RRP of £10,995. Contact us for more details.
